Last Friday, September 5, 2014, CitizenWatch held a post-SONA assessment roundtable discussion at UP-NCPAG, as sponsored by Mr. Prospero “Popoy” De Vera, the UP Vice-President for Public Affairs. Various economic, political and social issues were discussed, including the issues on the sectors of energy, and public utilities of the country. 

PBEST’s Secretary General, Atty. Ysan Castillo had participated in the discussion. Also, among those who attended were: Ramon Casiple, the Executive Director for the Institute For Political And Electoral Reform (IPER), Atty. Randy Bello, the Vice President For Internals of Tax Management Of The Philippines (TMAP), Nonoy Oplas, the President of the Minimal Government Thinkers, Inc., Vince Lazatin, the Executive Director of Transparency And Accountability Network, Popoy De Vera, the Vice President For Public Affairs of University Of The Philippines Diliman, Francis Isaac, the representative of DLSU – Robredo Institute of Governance, Dindo Manhit, the President of Stratbase Research Institute (SRI) and Wilford Wong the Secretary General of Citizen Watch.
